The tradition and style in the design of Persian gardens has influenced the design of gardens from Andalusia to India and beyond!
The Persian Gardens at Pasargadae were built in accordance
with mathematically based geometric designs. The garden included channels of
900 meters which was constructed of carved limestone which transported water
throughout the garden. The transportation was essentially a cultured irrigation
system containing stone water-channels and open ditches that were designed to
channel water into small basins at every 15 meters within the garden.
